Blumarine started as a small knitwear company in Carpi near Maranello, home of the legendary Ferrari. With the help of the late designer Franco Moschino the company developed a "look" of edgy romanticism, which has been continued by co-owner and chief designer Anna Molinari. Several years ago the company started producing another line called Anna Molinari.

Italian Fashion and Design is on the web since February 1995 and we can truly say that it was the first ever web about fashion. We are releasing within the next months a new section about Italian Design and industrial design that will include furniture, bathrooms ceramics, tiles, home and office accessories, automobiles and other pieces of content about award winning items that won prizes throughout the world and are exposed in museums such as the Museum of Modern Art in New York. We expect to release this around February 2012.
