Daniele Bollea was born in Rome in 1945. He started very young next to the sculptor Mirko. Living in the house of the uncle Emilio Jesi, an art collector, he met many artists like Carrà, Afro, Marino Marini, Prampolini. After that he felt he couldn't face life just holding a brush without learning more about nature. He worked in astrophysic many hears. In 1978 he felt it was time to go back painting and started to exibit his cosmic paintings, matter which gets out from empty, synchronical diachrony as landscapes of the historical, natural or cosmical evolution, in images like mandala: a picture which, like science spaces between the abstract and the concrete. He made friends with Melotti (1984) who influenced his sculpture and the habit of writing verses for his works.

Garden of Times I
The cloister contains gardens and fountains and symbolizes the soul as an enclosed infinite with its own sources inside. Here the gardens are landscapes in the time where history continues to flow out. History is not something you can predict, but a river that changes its source and course.

Garden of Times II
The metaphysical situation of reading is represented here by a cloister from the arch of which we see in an eternal view thousands of stories that rise again and develop like the water in a fountain.
