American, UK and European
Clothing Size Conversion Charts

One big difference between shopping in Europe, the UK and the US is the way that we are measured. How can your feet be a massive-sounding size 39 for goodness’ sake when they are only a petite 6 in the UK? And is dress size 38 a good thing or a bad thing? Welcome to the arcane world of  international sizing!

Bear in mind that high quality clothing in any country tends to be cut more generously, so you may be amazed to find you have gone down a dress size when buying a designer outfit. It may not be true, but we can dream...

Anyway, we have decided to help you untangle your centimetres from your inches by providing a collection of clothes conversion charts. So if you don’t like your size in one country – well, just choose another one!
