- You always dreamed of taking a trip on a yellow submarine? The air-conditioned TRITONE glides silently with its 46 passengers to 200 feet under the crystal-clear waters of capri, showing a submerged garden filled with aquatic plants, coral, and fish. The mother ship to the Tritone has a chic restaurant, bar, and souvenir shop. Definitely worth taking the trip. From April 1 to October 1, a motorboat leaving every hour from 9 am to 5 pm takes you from Capri's Marina Grande to the sub and mother ship Armonia located beneath the Faraglione. The underwater trip takes 40 minutes and goes to a depth of 50 meters. Cost: 70,000 lire adults, 36,000 lire children under 13. With two paid adult fares a child goes free. If you're going to Capri on the aliscafo from Naples, Sorrento, Salerno or Amalfi, book the submarine ride along with your ticket: a round trip plus ride on the submarine and lunch on the Armonia costs 95,000 lire and you can return to the mainland when you wish.
